Mobile Deployable Clinics & Kiosks

Mobile Deployable Clinics & Kiosks are advanced and digitally integrated medical vehicles equipped with examination rooms, laboratory services, and telemedicine tools to support the delivery of high-quality healthcare services in proximity to patients in need.
The project stems from the city’s aim to accommodate more visitors in the upcoming years given the limitations on the city’s current healthcare infrastructure, which poses a huge challenge and hinders the sector’s expansion, leading to a slower growth rate than expected.

These mobile clinics can be leveraged to create and enable a healthier population with proactiveness, responsiveness and quality services, as they are strategically deployed in accessible locations near or in high-risk areas, such as large-scale events, remote and isolated locations with limited access to hospitals, and construction sites. Moreover, health kiosks can be deployed in high-density areas, allowing residents and visitors to conduct automated exams that help with early detection, prevention and management of chronic diseases, eventually reducing fatalities and pressure on clinics and hospitals.

USE CASE

JOURNEY

Hind is a resident in Al Madinah city who lives quite far from the city center and usually needs time to travel to the nearest high-quality healthcare facility. Hind is very happy to hear about the new mobile clinic deployed near her in a local mall.

Hind helps her husband manage his diabetes, and notices one night that he is unusually pale. She takes him to the mobile clinic for a blood glucose test. As they enter the clinic, they receive guidance on using the equipment to perform the test themselves.

Hind’s husband blood glucose test results turn out to be quite low, triggering the mobile clinic to connect to the 24-hour telemedicine service. Via screen, an on-call doctor checks the readings, gives advice, and prescribes the required treatment.
