Overview
Al Madinah’s transportation network is made up of 24,000 km of roads, 2 seaports, airports, and a train station connecting it with King Abdullah Economic City, Jeddah and Mecca. The high number of tourists that come to Madinah increases the need for a modern and efficient transport infrastructure, hence a modernization program and updated transport masterplan has been developed in 2020 to optimize the transport system within the region.
